Get Ready – Household items: (indoor/outdoor) anything you can use your imagination to use for an obstacle course.
Get Set – Create your own obstacle course!
GO! – The object is to create and complete your own obstacle course. Your course can be indoor or outdoor (and if outdoor- use chalk if you have!) Time yourself to see how long it takes you to go through it start to finish! Challenge others in your household to see who can go through it the quickest! Have fun!!

Day 2: Tuesday June 16th, 2020
Challenge #1:
Get Ready – 1 Sneaker, outdoor space, clean feet!
Get Set – Make sure you have enough open space.
GO! – This event is called “If the Shoe Fits”. Count how many points you can score in 1 minute. Start with your foot partially in the sneaker. When the minute timer starts, flip the sneaker in the air with your foot and score as follows:
· 1 point = sneaker lands on
its side
· 2 points = sneaker lands
right side up
· 3 points = sneaker lands
upside down on the laces
Challenge #2:
Get Ready – 1 empty water bottle, 1 laundry basket, 1 tennis ball/sock ball.
Get Set – Lean the edge of the laundry basket on top of the empty water bottle. Sit approximately 8-10 feet away from the basket (with the open side of the laundry basket facing you.)
GO! – This event is called “Trap It”.
The objective is to roll the ball toward the water bottle attempting to trap the bottle under the laundry basket. To score, the ball must hit the water bottle first, then have it trapped under the basket. Get as many points in 1 minute!

Challenge #1:
Get Ready - 5 Large sock balls, a laundry basket or bucket, A wall.
Get Set - Roll up socks to make balls. Place your laundry basket or bucket up against a wall. Mark a distance of approximately
5’-10’ from the basket.
GO! – This event is called “Bank It”
You have 1 minute to get as many sock balls into the basket as you can, but you must BANK IT! (It must bounce off the wall first before going in). Keep track of your score for the minute. Do this 3 times and take your highest score!
Challenge #2:
Get Ready – A Jump rope or line on the ground.
Get Set – Pick a spot with enough room to jump continuously.
GO! – This event is called “Jump for Joy”
You have 1 minute to get as many jumps as you can! It’s that simple. Time yourself or have someone time you. Do this 3 times and take your highest score!

Egg Drop Challenge
Objective: Design a system to protect an egg from cracking or breaking from a high fall.
Materials: One egg and any household materials
Rules to follow for the egg drop challenge:
1) you must use household items to protect your egg. Examples: paper towels, straws, tape, cardboard, paper, popsicle sticks, sponges, or anything else you can find!
2) You must drop the egg from 5ft
3) Be creative! Your goal is to protect your egg from cracking!
4) Record yourself performing your egg drop challenge, the video should maximum 30 seconds long
